PANTONE Colour of the year
Posted on January 07 2019
This year's Pantone colour of year is: Living Coral. People are shy of the brighter colours and I know coral is definitely a vivid one. However coral can look absolutely gorgeous if worn in the right way. The colour is stunning in the hotter months and makes your tan look even more glowing than it naturally does.
We've picked out some of our favourite coral pieces from Westgate London.
First we have this wrap over coat by Erdem.
This is a lighter coral and would be a lot more wearable for most. The greatest thing about this coat is that it's also mixing in the fashion trend "Spectacular Spring". The perfect on season trend with the seasons hottest colour.
Secondly we have this slim-fit jacket from Ted Baker.
This jacket has a more pinky coral tone too it but what a colour. This jacket is perfect for everyday work wear or dress it down with t-shirt and jeans. Again this jacket also ticks off one of our Spring 2019 trends, "Fruity Suits". Yet again another two in one.
For your evening wear needs. This stunning Costarellos floral-embroidered gown.
A dustier coral but definitely a more wearable shade. This absolutely breathtaking piece from Costarellos is the perfect evening gown for those Spring does.
Simple by stylish piece from Vilshenko the Sylvia floral maxi dress.
If you are after something more subtly sophisticated this one could be for you. Could be worn with simple sandals for day wear or heels for night.
A simple short belted crepe dress from Claudie Pierlot.
Fancy something a bit more simple and short? This Claudie Pierlot dress is perfect for daywear and gives your silhouette such a stunning shape. This item would see you through Spring and until the end of Summer.
Another stunning piece from Claudie Pierlot is this striped sweatshirt.
The mix of coral and baby pink really makes this piece a showstopper. Perfect for the colder months ahead, Claudie Pierlot is really embracing the power of this coral shade and creating some stunning pieces out of it.
Fancy something a bit more floaty and fun. The Sally crepe mini skirt also from Claudie Pierlot.
What a perfect piece to make any outfit a bit more fun. Worn with a chunky knit or small t-shirt for summer, this is a perfect piece for all seasons.
Want to go full coral? The Ted Baker cropped trousers to match the jacket.
A bit more of a pinky shade of coral but one to see you through the spring and summer seasons. These trousers would complete your "Fruity suit" for the spring fashion trends.
To fit into the boilers and bikers trend. We have a silk jumpsuit from Johanna Ortiz.
This jumpsuit has such a flattering and interesting shape with a large bow on the back. This piece wouldn't need many accessories or enhancements as the shape is the showpiece.
If you don't feel confident wearing coral, why not accessorising with coral? Check out this shoulder bag from Roksanda.
This stunning coral bag mixed with gold hoops really creates something special. The interesting rope detail of the shoulder strap and large pouch will make this bag a perfect addition to your collection.
Another classic piece to add to your collection. A Mulberry leather wallet in coral.
Mulberry wallet full of the all the helpful compartments you need, coin purse, card holders and more. A timeless design with a 2019 colour.
